Sounds like you're bidding on a "pack" of one card, graded BGS 9 or PSA 9, that is from the set break of 1986-87 Fleer basketball.

1 card per pack. Your only getting 1 card basically. Your playing the LOTTERY here. They have other set breaks like this from 52, playballs, 1955 etc.

That is very mis-leading. A Beckett 9 Jordan is a $3000 card not $6000. It looks like the high bidder paid $491 for a 1 in 132 chance for the Jordan. I wonder how the other 131 slots were sold.

In other words, who is getting the $400+ Terry Teagle BGS 9?

Just another example of why set breaks are a suckers game. If people like this sort of thing they should put a group together to buy and divide the set themselves and take the “breakers” margin out of the equation.

Plus no transparency. They could literally not even be letting the Jordan go, or rigging it to go to a friend. I'll stick to facts because I don't like to bad mouth people in the auction business. I have returned 4 lots to Pristine and no longer bid with them.
