Default Brooks Robinson RoVinson Rookie Question

Hey All,

Relative newbie to vintage cards, although long time collector of memorabilia. What are some of the ways to differentiate between an authentic Brooks Robinson rookie verses an artificially aged reprint?

Thanks!

I would compare the size of the white borders to a known 57 Topps. On the reprints the borders may be wider. The real Brooks card should be off center... most are .... and have numerous print dots and a few fish eyes. Watch out for artificially rounded corners on a reprint. If all four corners are rounded evenly that’s a red flag. A loupe is a good investment. Try comparing a real know 57 to the card in question.
I have a real rookie card of Brooks that has all four borders removed if interested.
