Default Cards becoming iconic

Hi all,

What cards have become iconic over the past year that didn't really have that status previously? Seems like I see cards all the time now that are hot and highly sought-after especially in PSA 10 grades that I never thought of as must-have cards. The 1990 Score Bo Jackson comes to mind. Others?

I like the 1989 FB version of that card better, myself.

I do like graded cards, but I can’t justify >$500 on one of these PSA 10 Bo’s when I could have over 60 of the same card for the same cost.

This is another great example, thanks! I feel like there’s got to be 10 or 12 of these types of examples but when I was talking with a friend I couldn’t think of any of them besides the Bo Jackson.

They are somewhat iconic to me because I remember the “chase” for them in my youth...

But those “sold” prices on eBay for the 91 Jordan can’t be accurate can they???
