I think one of my favorite things about the forum is the camaraderie that I’ve built with some of the collectors on here. Open my mail today and found a nice gift package from one of them with some cards he knew I wanted for my collection. And it’s not the first time someone has sent me something they knew I’d enjoy—a kind friend mailed me a unknown box cut, someone sent me a matchbook, another friend gifted me a couple of fantasy cards, and another member was kind enough to send me a Rawlings premium from his childhood collection. I’ve kept, and cherished, all of these and tried to send out a few of my own packages here and there. But I just love that about the forum and wanted to share something positive about collecting and this community.

When I was new to the forum, another member did the same thing for me. I still have the cards.

Thanks again, Scott. I really appreciate the kindness.

About 18 months ago I received a gift right before I had emergency surgery. The timing couldn't have been better. It sure was uplifting to come home and enjoy it when I couldn't leave the house. And as a Reds fan, it's pretty NEXT LEVEL awesome. Thank you Doug!

This thread has me wondering if there will be a Net54 Secret Santa again this year. I hope so, as it has been quite fun in the past.
