Default What stadium is in the back ground of this card?

I was wondering if anyone could identify what stadium is in the background of this Minoso card that I borrowed off the internet. Is it Detroit Tiger Stadium or something else.

Almost positive that's Yankee Stadium. Go through a gallery of 1954 Bowman and you'll see that many, many "away" players were shot there and at the Polo Grounds. Fellow White Sox Dorish, Fox, and Trucks definitely were.

Bowman shot a lot in Philly IIRC, that could be Shibe Park

Here's a cool shot of Whitey Ford I found. He's clearly older than his 1953 (year the Minoso pic was snapped?) self, but it shows the lower right field stands in the background (not the same area as the background of the photo, but it gives a decent indication of what we're looking at). The most significant similarity to me is the way the pillars seem to slightly 'unstraighten' when passing in front of the deck facing...

I don't think Shibe Park's layout was the same as what is found on the new HOFer's card.

Edited to add: it's weird that Whitey is really hurling the ball from that spot as he warms up. There was plenty of room in foul territory on the first base side, but it looks like he's launching the ball into the stands.

'54 Bowman is a supremely underrated set. There are some beautiful cards that came out of that effort, & that Minnie is one of them.
