The Card Life/Tim Carroll
Not sure if everyone is aware of the show, The Card Life, on TV, but Tim Carrol's art was recently on the show along with a lot of other cool collections. I watch it on Directv ch. 671 (Bally Sports Midwest).

Wasn't aware. Just watched the first episode. It was funny to see Padres pitcher & host Matt Strahm's hands shaking when he pulled the Pete Alonzo autographed SuperFractor. Thanks for sharing!

It features mostly modern cards. I don't collect modern or Tim Carroll artwork, but I enjoy the show.

I don’t collect cards anymore, but I do enjoy watching anything about the hobby or any shows relating to collecting: Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Antique Road Show, etc. Ken Goldin is working on a TV show about the hobby, so interested to see how that goes. Again, thanks for sharing!

If people like Tim's art work I have consigned the Anson N167 piece to LOTG and it in the current auction. Current pieces, I believe, sell for about $7000. This piece's opening bid has been reduced to $2000. Each piece is unique and the N167 Anson has been called the most beautiful card ever produced.

I never tire of this.
The Anson for sale is also, IMO, a great work.

LOL, I’m certainly no expert on the numbers. Glad you knew what I meant.

Thanks Justin.
Its my favorite card -- the two best players of the era (and my two favorite) and I feel like the handshake is Honus passing off the "king crown" to the new young buck, but not before Pitt beats Detroit in the championship. I know this one was challenging for Tim. I dont recall what the concern was -- maybe it was the full body, two subjects, the relative monotone... I dont remember -- but he had some reservation when we first talked. But Tim killed t and the piece is amazing in person. |

The ground on the Cobb/Wagner card looks like an aerial view of a golf course, but I can't figure out which one.
