I have tried to find out additional information regarding this exhibition game that was played in 1936 between the Mud Hens and Indians. I have the scorecard, but it hasn't been completed (autographed a couple of time but not completed).
I am unable to find the date of this game or any further information. The reason I ask it may have been one of the very first appearances of Bob Feller. He is listed on the scorecard but nothing further. The forum has helped me in the past, so I'm reaching out to anyone that may have any details regarding this game - especially when it was played. Thanks in advance. |

Wow - much appreciated Andrew. There were a lot of views on the thread but no response so I was worried no one would find anything - great and a really big thanks.

More on the Mudhens (been a fan since before it was cool)
Swayne Field Former minor league baseball park in Toledo, Ohio, United States Swayne Field was a minor league baseball park in Toledo, Ohio. It was the home of the Toledo Mud Hens from July 3, 1909, until the club disbanded after the 1955 season. It was also home to a short-lived entry in the South-Michigan League in 1914. The park was named for Noah H. Swayne, Jr., the son of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Noah Haynes Swayne, who donated the land for the ballpark. The double-decker ballpark replaced Armory Park. The main stand was built of steel and concrete, one of the first minor league ballparks not made primarily of wood. Location Monroe St. & Detroit Ave, Toledo, Ohio Capacity 11,800 (initial), 14,800 (1928 expansion) Surface Natural Grass
