Elon Musk Rumor offer to Purchase the St Louis Cardinals for 14 Billion, more than the Yankees are worth. His son likes the team, if he becomes interested in collecting, nothing he couldn't buy if available. -If so, the AH better add him to their mailing list!

Not sure of his liquid on hand cash --Musk could spend one million a day for 1,095 years!

If he wants to do something for St. Louis, he should buy the Arizona Cardinals instead and move them back to St. Louis where they belong.

Seems like the source of all the rumors is posts on Facebook (as far as I could find). Forbes has the Cardinals valued at 2.55 billion so I'm sure Musk would be willing to pay over 5 times that. Sounds like a great business move.

First I have heard of this. That would be just like the Dewitt's to luck into someone buying the franchise at 5x value. I'm open to a change in ownership!

And I agree with Baltic's comment about the AZ Cardinals!

Right. It's a joke. If he wanted a MLB team the Twins are being shopped at less than 2 billion.
