Default Pre-War Cut Cards - 1910 All-Star Base Ball Etc...

Cut cards are always of great interest, at least to me.

Well, you learn something new every day. I've never before seen or heard of these. Pretty cool!

Vintage card issues that were cut down was something that leveled the playing field for me back in the day, as they were in general something that wasn't viewed as highly as machine cut cards (T206, E90-1, E121, 1933 Goudey etc.), and thus cost a fair amount less, but still were very captivating in my eyes. Here is one of my all-time favorites, an E-UNC Orange Border Lajoie card that was cut from a candy box. Someone put a staple into it, and alas those two little, almost unnoticeable holes also helped it land into my collection.

Some Baseball Bats candy cards, such as this WaJo, have orange borders like the Orange Borders candy cards:

Here is a Baseball Bats card that does not have the orange borders.

Brian (this cut from a candy box Lajoie is not mine, nor has it ever been mine, nor do the borders look real to me, nor is a fun word, nonetheless I may just be a ne'er-do-well)
