How many time a day/week do you check into Net54 and hit NEW POST to keep up and read every relative new update post to your collecting style?
Less than once a week Once a week Once a day 3 times a day More Then that I did not create a true poll to open up conversations. Me personally is most days more than 5 Last edited by nebboy; 06-22-2025 at 06:10 PM. |

Tomorrow will be 12 years on here for me and this site has become part of the hobby. Since I have averaged 2.43 posts a day I would say I am on here way more than I should be. LOL

Everyday. An enjoyable distraction from the daily grind. These are my people and I really enjoy the knowledge here and the friendships made. I was at a summer party yesterday and laughed thinking if I opened a conversation with “Hey, I just finished my E94 Crawford run after 5 years!” The reaction would be crickets and tumbleweeds… |

Not that I’ve ever done it or ever would, but I imagine the reaction would be quite different if you said “Hey, I just sold a 21 Exhibits Ruth postcard for $10,000”. - |

Couple times a day. Unless there is a slap fight between adult male teenage girls ongoing on the forum - then I’ll just pour a drink and refresh endlessly.

I dont post a lot (others have more knowledge, better collections) but I check many, many times a day - particularly the BST. Its still a significant source for my collection and much better than scrolling thru social media.

Probably at least every single morning, afternoon, and evening. I even find myself searching through conversations that have taken place years ago to learn more about the hobby. It’s pretty much my hobby search engine at this point.

The quality and quantity of information I have learned though the SEARCH function has been invaluable to me for my collection. A for baseball trivia in general. Can’t say Thanks enough to Leon for is incredible site.

I guess several times an hour. I "work" from home and keep a browser window open for NET54 and am always checking for both new posts or looking at old ones. I only average .40 posts per day so I don't really post much, but I am always checking older and newer posts. I will be retiring at the end of the year and I wonder how much time I will be on NET54 then.......

Sadly, probably once an hour. As another work-from-home person, it breaks up the monotony ... and you never know when that thing you need is going to pop on B/S/T. It's also great learning about items I never knew existed.

Nominated for post of the year. Almost spit out a little gin and tonic. And I never waste a good drink. |
