Picked up a lot ephemera that is attributed to the estate of Rudy Schaffer who was part of Bill Veeck's front-office team.
I believe the people in the first photo (from left to right) are: Ed Short (White Sox GM) ???? Al Lopez Rudy Schaffer Who is the person between Ed Short and Al Lopez. Is it Harry Grabiner? The second photo I can ID Rudy Schaffer on the left and Bruce Henry (Travelling Secretary for the NY Yankees) 2nd from the right. The back of the photo has a stamp from "Kenneth Twaddell & Associates 1191 S. E. 17th Street, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. 33316" The Ft. Lauderdale stamp leads me to think it was to an evening event during spring training. The girls sash says Topps. I'm thinking the full text might say Topps Chewing Gum. Any chance this was a Topps sponsored event? Thanks.
