I thought pitchers had to face three batters. They don't even follow the rules of baseball in this game lol

I like that they went back to wearing team uniforms instead of the generic all-star uniforms that were used the last few years.

NL better score in the bottom of the 9th since they have no pitchers left for a 10th inning. I wonder what will happen if it's tied after the 9th.

A position player pitches, hopefully

Check that, it will be a "home run swing-off" lol

Yeah, not sure I'm a fan of this ending. We'll see how it goes.

As a Phillies fan, happy to see Schwarber win it for the NL, but I'm not a fan of deciding the All Star game this way.

Swing off, ghost runners... What used to be a serious game has become a carnival show.

Yes, professional sports are a performance meant to entertain. But they've dumbed it down to appeal to the instant gratification crowd, throwing away 120+ years of tradition in the process.

The All Star game has not been around for 120 plus years. It was a made up thing that they decided to create one year. I think some grace can be had with it's current inventions. It is an exhibition game after all. I don't think anyone found the 15 inning and nearly five hours long 2008 All Star game exciting.
