Default Is this a stamp on the back of this Cobb ?

The green Cobb i won has this stamp on the back. At least i think it is. Would this be the reason for the grade ? From the front it appears to be a solid 3.

I believe SGC's policy on writing on the back boils down to this:
1 line of text: Best Grade: SGC 30
2 lines of text: Best Grade: SGC 20
3 or more lines of text: Best Grade SGC 10
Doesn't matter how nice the card is otherwise on the front; a card's other attributes can bring the grade down from a 30 or 20 as well.

In looking at the stamp on the back of the Green Cobb; it looks like they counted the initials as three distinct lines of text.

That alone would lower the grade to a 30 (although I have seen a few 40's with a horizontal crease that must have slipped by).

The Cobb's still a beauty, Scott!
Don't let the legalistic, mechanical approach of the professional
graders make you feel otherwise!
Go with your own aesthetics.

all the best,

Barry
