WANTED: Southern Leaguers w/ Hindu Back

Looking to buy or trade for the following T206 Southern Leaguers with a Hindu back in any condition:

Bernhard, Bill Hart, Jimmy Hart, King, Lafitte, Lentz, Orth, Rockenfeld, Seitz, Carlos Smith and Westlake.

I have southern leaguer's w/ Hindu back to trade and many T206's and E cards. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please email me at tbotticell@aol.com.

After nearly 30 years of searching, I have NEVER seen these Southern league T206 cards with Hindu back:
Bill Hart
Jimmy Hart
Harry Lentz
Al Orth
James Westlake

I now believe that these five players along with the six Texas league players were never issued with Hindu backs. The Southern League hindu back set might be complete at 37 cards. (48 SL players - 6 texas league -5 above).
Please keep us posted if you find any of the above.

Hi Art,

I am starting to believe that the five players you mention do not come with the Hindu back also. If anybody on this board has ever seen these cards please let us know. I am willing to pay a strong premium for any of the southern leaguers with hindu back I need to complete the set. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tom,
I believe Art is right, as usual on the Slers. I am also collecting Slers with Hindu backs and have never seen the Texas Leaguers or the 5 above. I believe they were all on the same sheet and never printed with Hindu backs.

I have a brown hindu of a player from a mobile team. Is he a southern leaguer? Name is thornton. Maybe a minor leaguer? Anyone know?

The player is Woodie Thornton and yes he is a southern leaguer.
