i "found" this card in a bb card shop in allentown PA, about 15 years ago, bought it raw for $125 (most expensive card i had bought up until that point)...i sold it 2 years ago & have seen it surface a few times over the last year or 2...

i should just buy it back...i'll think about it (maybe i could interest you in a trade)?
i'll email later today.

Best-
MS

MS,

Sure, shoot me an email. Sell, trade I'm fine either way.

I love this card. It's actually one of my favorites, but I'd also like to move beyond just T-206s and do some type collecting.

Regards,
Eric

I once owned that card as well. I was the one who had it put in a PSA holder. It's a great card.

i had it first graded about 10 years ago...it actually was just slabbed a "1"...no (mk)...then i cracked it out, because i didn't want any "1's" in my collection, at the time, i wanted it just raw...then sent it in again, got a 1(mk), and i think i cracked it again, i'm nuts sometimes...haha.

then i sold it in a large raw lot (if i remember correcly), then i guess you got it slabbed again...

it does have some history behind it...

And I purchased it from Adam. It was a birthday present to myself.

I think it's kind of cool that we can track some of the recent history of this card. Makes it very interesting.

I agree, the recent history of this card is cool to know. I did some digging through my emails and have this to add to the history -- I bought that card, raw, from a person in Squaw Valley, California who has an eBay user name of "albercr."

So the card was (1) in California, then it went to me (2) in Washington, DC, then I sent it back (3) to California (to PSA), then it came back to me (4) in Washington, DC, then it was sent (5) to New Jersey (if I remember correctly, that's where you live Eric). Wish I had frequent flyer miles for that card.

Well it looks to really like the East Coast then, if it keeps coming back here.

That being said, lets find it a new home.....East Coast/West Coast/Midwest....it doesn't matter.

Would also be willing to trade for Graded E type cards.

If you want it, make me a reasonable offer. My list price was $425.

Thanks.

The history of the card is pretty cool, seems to have a hard time finding a permanent home.

I get a kick out of PSA putting a qualifier on 1s and 2s, why bother at that grade? So are they technically zeros. Maybe 2 negatives makes a positive
