Hey guys,
I may be wrong, but I have not seen any Sports or Non-Sports tobacco cards with either the CHESTERFIELD brand or the LUCKY STRIKE brand on them. In 1905, ATC acquired the the R.A. Paterson Co....maker of LUCKY STRIKE cigarettes. So, how come there aren't any T206's with a LUCKY STRIKE back ? ![]() In in 1912 (after ATC's divestiture), Liggett & Myers introduced the CHESTERFIELD cigarette brand with the slogan "They do satisfy". Chesterfield Cigarette compact (5 5/8 " x 4 1/2 ") ![]() ![]() Compact open.....and it's empty.....my CHESTERFIELD cigarettes went up in smoke ![]() ![]() Anyone on this forum have any thoughts as to why these two major T-brands were not printed on insert premiums for cigarette packs ?
