I went to this show for the first and likely last time. I was looking for some pre war stuff and some select 50's card. I picked up 9 Cracker Jacks from Stan vintage cards and one other from a random seller.

My biggest issue is the amount of Pokemon and my question is what was there before the Pokemon. Was the show smaller or have the Pokemon delaers pushed out other dealers for some reason. It was a long Friday for me over 3 1/2 hours each way and I saw just about all the same dealers as I would see up here in Philly, so not worth the trip. Venue was nice with lots to eat nearby and easy to get to but damn it seemed to be nearly 40-50% Pokemon...

I live in the area and have attended the CSA show since the beginning when Marco Rol (RIP) was the promoter. The rap against CSA then was it was more of an autograph show, but I get the feeling that has reversed. There have always been some interesting non card vendors (ex. gutters, beef jerky, jewelry) but nothing like the Pokemon dealers I witnessed on Sunday. I was just chatting about the Strongsville and Philly show with a fellow collector. For me Strongsville is a 6+ hour drive just for cards. Is the Philly show being taken over by Pokemon?
