Picked these up at Chantilly a few months ago but only got to take a few camera phone pictures today. If you guys see any articles where you want a better picture/scan let me know and I'll try to post it.

First picture set link is a 1941 Scrapbook chronicling Spring Training articles published in the Greensboro, NC newspaper. Lots of interesting stuff such as a picture of Ty Cobb.

----

Second picture set link only shows a few choice pictures of the entire Composition notebook. This one covers 1947 Spring Training. Lots of articles about Jackie Robinson breaking in, guys coming back from war, Evers obituary, among other items.

Arrived in the mail today. Nice crop line on the back. Its hard to see in the scan, but this T206 also has a light blue "+" in the right upper corner on the front.

Always felt this was the best of the t200 images--fairly close up (unlike some), sharp photo (ditto), dark uniforms setting it off nicely.

I have always wanted a thorpe card, and he's featured on the NY Fatima which is a bonus.

Thanks, I was coveting the one from the Dreier collection that sold for 8K (It was a PSA 5 or something like that I think?) Anway, this card has been on my want list for a long time and I finally found one that didn't completely break the bank.

Apparently my scanner sucks, but I just got a Kisinger with a crop mark in the top right that Jantz and Tim confirmed was an unknown crop mark player. It was much easier to see on the ebay scan and also in person. I wouldn't have bought it based on my scans, that's for sure! Also has a slight wet sheet transfer on front/top. Also thought it was cool that the B missed a little on the front, so it has a shadow effect. Two B's or not two B's is the question?

I was wondering who pulled the trigger on that one - very tough card.

Interesting. I just picked up a Kisinger as well - same Piedmont WS transfer in the same location on the front. But no crop mark
