Barry, simply stated, though the best lineup didn't last long, the Airplane (and Hot Tuna) are on the short list of bands that I will still pull out and listen to from w-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-y back then.

I like Pointed Little Head in addition to the two that you mentioned. While we are at it, Quicksilver's Happy Trails is another great one.

Never a Tuna fan, but the Airplane were just about my all time favorite band. Unfortunately, they were short lived.
