Soak?
No, I haven't tried to remove any, but I can't imagine that they would come out pretty. It's fun just to hold and look at(and smell
 ) like it is.

Very neat item! It kind of looks like they were already soaked ... perhaps to make skinning them easier?
You can really feel the time and energy the collector put into this project through the photos. I absolutely love those old hinges, and the wood binder. It reminds me of something my grandfather would have made in his workshop. Last edited by Shouldabeena10; 01-27-2014 at 09:35 AM.
