not sports, forgive me Leon, just LOVE this. ICONIC image everyone knows. Not sure when I saw it in the old crap frame how old. Then, saw this when sliding off frame backing. So, that makes it 50 plus at least

IMO, pretty cool, photo has very light AP Stamping. prob a 60s souvenir, but I love it.

Of course, all six were not--as the affixed label mistakenly states--KIA. Ira Hayes, John Bradley, and Rene Gagnon survived the war.

Here's a FDC from my collection that was signed by them postwar (most likely at the dedication of the USMC memorial at Arlington Cemetery):

well, the owner should have done his research. At least it dates it. Nice FDC too for sure.
