Price was right
Ah, price inflation. Picked up this Mantle at a card show in 1982. The dealer kind of scratched his head when I asked what he wanted for it, he turned it over, looked at the back and said 59 bucks. Wonder how he came up with that figure.
 A few times since, have puzzled over whether, if that dealer also had a 52 Mick in similar condition, if I would have jumped on it had he used the same pricing method. I'd like to hope so, but those were different times. Last edited by Volod; 10-08-2014 at 02:14 AM.
