my ebay handle.....my friend Mike used to call me the "vster" because my last name , vanderbeck.....was a nickname of sorts...then he added "mr" one day...]

I took mine from a character in the movie Last Starfighter - a favorite of mine as a kid. Also, I post on several internet sites, and the name is not common.

Back in the early days of the internet, I needed a screen name for AOL instant messenger. In all my 13 year old wisdom, I picked my two favorite baseball players (Chipper Jones and Hank Aaron) and combined their names. To follow the popular form, at least among my friends, I needed a number on the end. Hank Aaron's 44 was the natural choice.
