Did you actually think the Beatles first appeared on the Howdy Doody Show?

No -- I should have used the as my personal attempt at humor gone sour

I watched HoDo when I was growing up in NY and after we moved to L.A watched the Beatles on EdSu. A couple of years later, on a quite hot summer evening, the family went out for a drive with the top down and happened to pass by The Hollywood Bowl. The Beatles were performing: if you ever thought A Hard Days Night was fabrication...WHOA! It took us forever to get through the traffic. True Beatlemania.

I was trying to be funny too Paul. I didn't think anyone actually thought the Beatles were on Howdy Doody.

The Hollywood Bowl concert was one of their more famous American shows. There are clips of it on Youtube.

I know you were, Barry. I'm still waiting for someone to design my customized geezer icon.

What is Youtube?

The Beatles didn't but they did have to keep an eye out for the Termites.
