Curious if it has any period writing on it. Several W516s from the 11-20 strip have been found with a message on them from "L.A. Becker", who I take to be a school teacher in the early twenties. I don't think I have Nehf.

These are my only 2 strip cards. Hoping to find a cheap beater raw/authentic Ty Cobb.

I have now updated my list with Nehf. If I am not mistaking I have had a few other of these but they were the same player so I kept this one.

Is it possible that there are strip card printer scraps?

Some would say all strip cards are printer's scrap. I, however, am not one of these people. An old scan...if I remember correctly all of these are various versions of W573 cards, including the sepia and green tints.

Guys, help me out with this. If that is a wet sheet transfer or bleed through, would it make sense that the reds and greens would show up more? It seems to me that those are bolder colors on the card, vs. the grey shading & flesh tones that seems to be showing. Just wondering if there's something more to it. Printer's scrap perhaps?
