Finally got him. I passed on two fairly high grade cards over the last couple of years and had regretted it ever since. This made my month.

Took off the afternoon to sign for this one today. Diamond-cut with WST on reverse silhouetting Cobb's head. I know this isn't scrap because of the diamond-cut but would this be considered a "freak", an oddity, or otherwise? Doesn't matter too much, I can't put the thing down either way! Would love get some feedback from some T206 experts or anyone else who cares to chime in on this one!

![]() ...These are the same size as the 1935-1936-1937 Fine Pens/Wide Pens photo-cards , but not glossy and on much thicker stock , almost the same as the exhibits' , and blank backed . Sold for ten cents for an envelope of a set of ten different players. These four were in the original envelope which was noted as " Set No. 2 "---being inside the original envelope all these years kept them in really decent condition --- Centering is all over the place . I've never seen any of these particular poses in other sets-- I believe this would be Gehringer's rookie year ?? How about Bridges ?? Any help from Tigers historians would be appreciated . ... I've already posted the"Mickey Cochrane Manager '33 " card from this set in ''Follow The Picture'' if anyone wants to see that one. That's a great pose too. .. |

Mike,
The set is referred to as the 1934 Newton Annis Furs. Here is another example: |

I was looking for a good quality for one at the right price for years. Sadly I should have just pulled the trigger a long time ago because prices have gone up.
