Ramon Martinez was actually a very good pitcher...didn't get the hype that his younger brother did but the guy was solid in his own right. Went 20-6 one year, was 135-88 lifetime with a no-hitter under his belt.
Sandy Alomar was in the same bucket...he was a 6x All-star and fairly solid player in his own right. |

I wouldn't call Sandy Alomar Jr. Underachieving he played 20 years batted well above his weight and for what it's worth (if anyone believes this is a defense) he was a 6 time all-star
