| Show your vintage uncut sheets / strips!

I never was much of a fan of uncut sheets in the past, but was thrilled to recently pick up this 1933 Goudey Sport Kings uncut sheet. Sure, the condition isn't great in some areas, but I was very happy to find one in a range which I could afford. I'd love to see any other vintage uncut sheets that anyone else has (or has pics of).... |

Hey Patrick Times are tough. I had to spend the quarter. John- bald, fat and stupid......a perfect formula for happiness!! Like I said, had I not picked up the proof strip I would have kept the one you got. I can't keep everything and sometimes need to sell things to more easily hang onto, or acquire, others.

"In Form of Type Card...in the shape of water bucket" Why the hell did one Wonder Twin always turn into something cool and the other a bucket of water anyways? Love those '50 Bowman panels Ted. I've always considered that the transition set between the earlier, pre-war R cards and the more modern cards that began with 52 Topps. Here is my '53 panel, from the big find by Bob Sevchuk back in the early 80's and the centerpiece of my collection: |

Yep, really happy with that W529-8 sheet. I remember being the underbidder to you in the Legendary auction, but managed to get it in Hertage when you decided to sell. I really never see these for sale at all (or at least the Ruth) whether in sheet form or singles.

This partial scan is from a complete sheet of the East Hills (Pittsburgh) 25-card set. The sheet size is 16 1/4 " wide by 21 1/2 " long. My scanner isn't large enough to show the entire sheet. When I get around to taking a photo of the entire sheet, I'll replace this scan of with the complete sheet. TED Z . Last edited by Leon; 02-29-2016 at 09:27 AM. Reason: resized image to fit screen |
