I always thought this was an iconic Topps Baseball card.
Anytime I would pass a glass case at a Baseball card show, all the way back to when I was a kid, this card always caught my eye.
Don't know why it has taken me 57 years to own one.

Nice Robinson! With that pose and the spring training crowd in the background it almost has an "in action" feel to it.

Very nice pickup.

I was thinking that this picture was taken in Seals Stadium in SF where the Giants played their 1st 2 seasons before moving to Candlestick in 1960. Many of the Giant player's, as well as some other NLers, cards have Seals Stadium in the background on their 59-60 Topps issues.

I know these are not baseball but they are just too cool not to share. Got these in a trade from a fellow member. They remind me of drag racing from when I was a little kid.

Ben, I loved those cards as a kid growing up! One of my favorites were " Way Out Wheels " cards as well.

Seeing your racing cards brought back a flood of memories for me! Good times!!!

Love the old school drag racing. Saw those too, great pick up. Wish I had picked up more of those packs as a kid.

Don't know how I missed these?

Good question, ZW? I'd like to know the answer too.

Thank you Dale...

Here is a link to a previous thread discussing the 52 grey backs. While it does not discuss reasons why some GBs appear to be SP, it speculates which cards are SPs:
