About a third of the stuff is actually true, a third of it is grossly exaggerated and a third of it is total fabrication. Trying to figure out which was which was the difficult part, I guess. There are very few people in the world, which I have any real knowledge of, who I call "bad". He is one of the very few. Don't know the guy personally and have no information as to what he did or didn't do to anyone, but all this squares with one thing I've seen over and over in my life . . . often times the sanctimonious types who make a living outing other people's transgressions or weaknesses are doing what they do simply to divert attention from their own (usually bigger) cons and scams.

If kosher, would it be permissible to seek recommendations of non-partisan political blogs. I would enjoy discussing some issues in a board that shares characteristics with this one. Bright, educated comments, with name shown, no trolls or ad hominem attacks. If ok by Leon, maybe some of you who also talk politics on non-partisan boards could give me a lead (privately if necessary).

If I can stray further O-T: Go Tide. My college roommate (1966) was from Selma, Alabama. Being a native of Virginia myself, I found it more enjoyable to root for the Tide. Been a fun ride for 50 years.

More important than if the web site is still operational is Mr. Nash has not written anything since June. To me, that is more a clue of his moribund status than just re-upping for the website.

I used a fixed link to visit this site so a typing error was not possible.

Sure enough the site was switched this morning, but now it's back to Peter's control again.

Perhaps he was able to pay his bill and have it redirected. I assure you, this morning it was taken over by another company.

Domain providers provide a large window for domain reclamation. Just because it expires doesn't mean you lost it. You can contact your registrar and typically they will give you a 45 day window which you can simply renew it at normal cost, but even if the name goes back to ICAN, you can pay a reclamation fee to have it returned back to you, within a longer window, perhaps a total of 90 days or up until the name is officially released.

In that time frame the registrar typically puts up things on your domain to harvest money from your existing traffic.

It looks like the registration is on 1/7 so likely expired, and then renewed, and typically it take 24 to 48 hours for the site DNS to be put back to your web content rather than the registrars advertisement.

Hope that clears it up.

I wasn't outraged, but I did disagree. But "that Ullman guy" put his name on his post, and he was admonished by Leon for discussing politics. This gentleman ignored Leon's warning about politics and left his name off his comment.

But yes, I admit that I am an Obama supporter.
