I've done it manually. I don't use sniping software, but probably should at some point. I've done a couple in the 2-4 second range, but don't really feel comfortable trying it every time. For me anything under 10 seconds is fine.

It's good cause sometimes I get busy, and I don't have to be married to my computer.

I use gavelsnipe. It's free! I've only had a handful of times when it failed, mostly when I had more than 10 snipes in a day. Nothing to dissuade me from continuing.

Gary, I joined Gavel Snipe as well. Coming from BidNip, I am used to these sniping services only having one server (which Gavel Snipe appears to have). What appealed to me with Gixen, was they had TWO servers, in case the first one failed.

Gavelsnipe for me.....for many years now and can't remember a failure but there have been a few, which I* think might not have been on the Gavelsnipe side of things. Great service.
