Slowly working a few baseball sets:
T206 Southern League (Virginia League) - 8/12, 67% 1957 - 335/407, 82% 1964 Giants Auto'd - 50/60, 83% 1965 - 538/598, 90% 1972 (2nd set) - 762/787, 97% Hoping to knock out the '57, '65, and '72 sets in 2019.

I needed only six cards to finish my 54 set and for Christmas my secret Santa got me two of the four commons I needed. Then my brother surprised me with a gift of two more commons that just happened to be the other two that I needed after my secret Santa sent me his two. So now I'm just down to the Aaron and Banks rookies. I'm sure I can get a Banks in my price range but the Aaron is out of my range so it'll be a while until I actually complete the set, but I'll be happy at 249 until then.

How did you find 1967s from 1954 until 1966?

My 1968 Topps football set is complete. The set looks nice in the 9 card pages. It was a quick and easy set to finish with the cards that I had from my childhood.
Now on to my next set. The 1961 Topps. I have a 275 card head start with a fair amount of the star cards, but only a few of the high numbers. Going for a nice mid grade set. |
