I wonder if anyone has actually tallied up the "dollar profits" from these ill-gotten gains? And what would that total number be, derived from the thousands of number-graded cards that we've seen? (keeping in mind that only a small percentage can be accessed/researched using the internet) Whatever that number is, it absolutely dwarfs the extent of crimes committed by Mastro & Co. At this point the history of the card over the last 18 years is unknown, so the return may not have accrued to one person.

It takes some giant "berries" to doctor some of these already high-end cards. I cant imagine taking a risk on a PSA 8 Gehrig.

That card was a ugly PSA 8 the first time.
For this card to be trimmed this badly and to get a 9 with SGC that looks bad.....real bad. Would like to know two things; Whom submitted the card for grading to SGC? Will SGC honor their guarantee, buy the card back reholder it properly in a A. Last edited by Johnny630; 10-28-2019 at 03:07 PM. |

What if somehow the submitter knows ahead of time the grade that will be assigned by a specific grader or graders by one of the tpg's. Hmmmm. |

Perhaps one of Heritage's friends will contact them so they can do nothing about it.
