It takes some giant "berries" to doctor some of these already high-end cards. I cant imagine taking a risk on a PSA 8 Gehrig.

That card was a ugly PSA 8 the first time.
For this card to be trimmed this badly and to get a 9 with SGC that looks bad.....real bad. Would like to know two things; Whom submitted the card for grading to SGC? Will SGC honor their guarantee, buy the card back reholder it properly in a A. Last edited by Johnny630; 10-28-2019 at 03:07 PM. |

What a mess. Just once it would be nice to hear from a major auction house, with specific action that was actually taken to resolve one of these issues. The silence is becoming deafening, and is sucking the trust right out of the hobby. |

Who sent the card in for grading and who consigned the card ? If someone knowingly alters a card in bad faith to defraud the TPG breaking their good faith clause wouldn’t said grader have civil monetary restitution suit against submitter ? Or is that all BS too ? Finger pointing and coverup to follow. Or even worse the owner loves the card no issues...guess that’s The same as cover up. So many theories all very interesting and extremely saddening. Last edited by Johnny630; 10-28-2019 at 06:21 PM. |

Two days until the next CLCT earnings release and conference call. No doubt there will be some very tough analyst questions .... not. No doubt Joe will have a candid discussion of the scandal.... not.

Peter, you should consider working on Wall Street with that precise call on the short. Down over $3 today. Any other winners you want to share with us?

Sadly the high end graded card market must crash first for any of this to positively recover and move in the proper direction. Right now it’s all a Fraud.
I’m not insane I’m just keeping it real to the bottom line. |

And you’re still a bottom-feeding idiot both in the legal profession and the hobby. Actually the Gehrig card is being addressed. But you don’t know how because, well, you don’t matter.

I am glad to hear something is being done about the Gehrig. Slabbing the mini-Goudey was not S_C's finest hour.

Can you explain what you mean by "addressed"? I'm inferring refunded and then provided to the FBI and/or reholdered as AUTH, but it could mean something else.

Glad to see now they you are volunteering previously unknown information to the board as being 'addressed' I am sure you will advise exactly how it was addressed as that would be the point of it. Everything in life is being 'addressed'. Anyway, if it can be addressed where everybody is happy and no lawsuit needs to be filed then that would be the best option.. You will probably start with an insult but it was you that volunteered the card with 'being addressed' I am only asking you something in which you volunteered information and asking for a follow up, not sure what is wrong with that... Last edited by 1952boyntoncollector; 12-01-2019 at 07:18 AM. |

What if somehow the submitter knows ahead of time the grade that will be assigned by a specific grader or graders by one of the tpg's. Hmmmm. |

Perhaps one of Heritage's friends will contact them so they can do nothing about it.
