| Zeenut Covaleski

I'm very excited to post this Zeenut Covaleski. With this addition, I now have at least one Zeenut card of every major league Hall of Famer in the Zeenut run. I've wanted to complete this run since I picked up my first Zeenut Hall of Famer back in high school (Cochrane). This has been something like a 40 year journey. (Sorry for the poor quality scan - it's a new scanner that I obviously need to adjust). |

Thanks everyone. The next 40 years I will try to locate the cards I need to complete my overall HOF collection -- a Punch or Cabanas Pete Hill, a Mallorquina Willie Foster, and a W600 or Just So Burkett.

Thank you! I saw your post about looking for one after that auction ended and had a feeling you were in the mix on it.

Not a new pick-up, but re-discovered in the bottom of one of my desk drawers where I must have put them to keep them flat. I completely forgot I had these. The stamps are really great for some kind of display. I have my work cut out for me.

| Numbers 387 and 388 in the rebuilt collection

Thanks to all for heads-up messages and others assists. And no idea why images are upright when shot and uploaded, but show up on their sides here. Sorry.

I’ve never loved this card because I don’t think there is much resemblance to Ruth… But all of the questions about this issue intrigued me… and it’s early!

Pete, isn't your Ruth card supposedly his first in a Yankee uniform?

its debatable...research suggests ruth is depicted in "transitional" garb hence the red sleeves...but I think there are other examples of red sleeves in the set?
