Those are some great pickups.

You outbid me for the E94 Sam Crawford in the Collector Connection auction. Such a cool card. Congrats!

Thank you! I saw your post about looking for one after that auction ended and had a feeling you were in the mix on it.

Not a new pick-up, but re-discovered in the bottom of one of my desk drawers where I must have put them to keep them flat. I completely forgot I had these. The stamps are really great for some kind of display. I have my work cut out for me.

Default Numbers 387 and 388 in the rebuilt collection

Thanks to all for heads-up messages and others assists.

And no idea why images are upright when shot and uploaded, but show up on their sides here. Sorry.

I’ve never loved this card because I don’t think there is much resemblance to Ruth… But all of the questions about this issue intrigued me… and it’s early!

its debatable...research suggests ruth is depicted in "transitional" garb hence the red sleeves...but I think there are other examples of red sleeves in the set?

Image was made from a famous Conlon photo of Ruth batting for the Red Sox as mentioned in other threads.

Nice pickup!
