They have a 1953 Topps Mays PSA 8 that’s In the auction. One hasn’t sold in the auction since Dec 2019 for 32,400 in REA. The pop is only like 46 eights with only 4 higher. The SP high number Mays is arguably the hardest high number card in the set. Of all the years going back to the early 80’s I never heard of there being a 53 Topps high numbers find. It’s going to be interesting to see how much this goes for!

- 1961 Fleer Basketball Wax Box w/24 unopened packs
- Dead-centered PSA 2.5 Good+ 52 Topps Mantle

- Incredible collection of Boston Red Sox programs from 1901-2021 including a 1903 Game#1 “scored” Huntington Grounds program.
- Wide assortment of Babe Ruth cards including a PSA 4 ‘21 Exhibit; PSA 6 ‘24 Willard’s Chocolate; and extremely “scarce for the grade” ‘27 E126 Caramel.

There is a seemingly endless amount of elite material in the market. Is a whole generation of collectors getting out?

Some of us are just selling one great item to buy a house. Not getting out.
With hopefully some left over to buy another collection piece.

Peter - Simply stated, some of the prices are so staggering, a bunch of collectors cannot resist in cashing out. However, there are an equal, if not more, number of collectors/investors looking to buy high-end cards & memorabilia since it certainly appears that today’s retail is tomorrow’s wholesale with regard to highly coveted items.

I've always really liked Memory Lane. Every year, I receive some sort of complimentary gift from them, better than any other AH. This past year, I got this nice cup from them, which I regularly use.
