That tracking history is insane. Not providing tracking seems like some kind of weird power trip.

Not sure why the seller stated tracking shows package delivered since the info that Leon posted shows the package is clearly still in transit. There is NO reason a tracking number should ever be withheld by a seller. Not sure why this is ok?

If the cards do end up lost this is one reason it is great to have slabbed cards with cert numbers.

Maybe he could start a gofundme for the 15$?

Most times it's the usps to blame, though others like to rush to judgement

What part of this do you morons simply not understand? How many times do we have to tell you? It IS NOT about the freaking money. It's about the cards. Get it through your thick skulls, and DROP IT. PLEASE.

This is a very informative thread, in spite of what some might have said already I have learned a lot! Some is what was already known but reinforced.

1. Always insist on getting tracking info.
2. Don't start diss threads for purchases under fifty bucks.
3. Never trust USPS to deliver something on time.
4. Some folks will argue anything.
5. Keep a closer eye on BST stuff is obv cheaper there than I realized.
6. Leon is a boss, deal straight or be prepared to answer for it. I like that.
7. Don't freak out if it takes two weeks to get a package. (see item #3)
8. Folks on this forum are passionate collectors and look out for each other.
9. Communication solves problems, OP was mad but respectful enough not to flame the seller and it looks like it's working out for everyone.

So all this drama is over $15 bucks?

It often seems to be the case that once a USPS package goes off course, it stays there for a while. That said, the trip out to Colorado is remarkable.

It appears good communication from the start from the seller (and during the shipping process) could have prevented the buyer from getting rightfully frustrated.

I recently made a forum purchase from Seablaster and he provided tracking right away (without me having to ask first) and let me know, that he feels he is responsible for the package until it arrives to the buyer. In my opinion, that kind of seller experience on here is A+ and something everyone should provide.

On the other forum I am a member of, I have also made it a point at times to send a message to the buyer during shipping, letting him or her know that I am actively tracking the package and am aware of its location (or delay). It helps quell most concerns of the buyer when he or she knows you care.

I'll take "It's the principle" for $15, Alex.

Personally, if I feel ripped off, I am going to say something, $15 or $1500. James didn't put Ocatavio's name out here. He was just pissed at the situation. I think there were some miscommunications, or human error, and will just leave it at that. It doesn't matter a whole lot. (it can be argued, but I won't care )

The cards were shipped on time and USPS is a joke on this one.

To clarify too, yes, if a member asks for a tracking number, and tracking was to be provided in the shipping (how can it not be?), then it should be given to the buyer.

Both are good members. Happy collecting!

The card is taking a short Fat Ass Herzog tour, but without the pictures.

At this point it's like that scene in Happy Gilmore when he takes that miniature golf shot and everyone's eye's are watching it bounce from one point to the next.

Jim - hopefully you have the tracking information now. You just missed Happy's initial hit from the hockey stick putter.

I don't give a flying fk if its over $1.50, refusing to promptly forward tracking information when asked is bad form to say the least. Seems like this long time board member just went out of his way to pick a fight that could have been defused in 15 seconds.

That must have been the most convoluted journey since Large Ass Herzog.

Default At least it wasn’t sent to Puerto Rico

You still may get your cards.

I recently purchased an item on eBay. Seller was in Iowa. I’m in Illinois. Took a month to arrive. The path it took was pretty amazing:

Iowa to South Dakota to Puerto Rico to Florida to Indiana and finally to Illinois.

An awesome member and I are going through a similar situation; my man has been on it since the get go. He put an insurance claim in about a week ago. Package has been MIA since 2/24. Do these things ever turn up out of the blue? Since the claim went in, I can’t track the package any more. Kind of sad. A 115 year old card winding up in some facility In Philadelphia
