Thanks, Jay and Jeff, for your most kind words. The newly listed example in the PSA pop report is a PSA 3. As we are aware, what gets a 3 grade from PSA these day used to get a 4 or 5 grade. So, I have to think that the newly discovered example is nicer than mine. But, it's all part of collecting, which is such great fun.

Don't have one and probably never will, but reading the offer on the back, I like that you just had to show 50 different cards to get the prize and did not have to trade them in.

Also, as most know, distributors (not D352 necessarily) would cancel cards (cuts, tears, stamps etc..) then send them back. I guess it's debatable if those are even defects to me! Maybe they are to graders, most times, but they have gotten a little better.

SGC used to label these D382s this way but I don't know if they still would.

I look at it a different way. With this sale, you will have a price point on your example when you decide to sell. Hard to value 1 of 1 cards sometimes.

Drew, thanks for your interesting point of view. But, truth be told, I'd rather have a 1-of-1 WaJo card than a price point. I plan to keep this card until I pass, at which time my wife (presumably, as she is younger and in better health) will consign it to an auction house.

Val, the solution is simple-- I'm surprised you haven't mentioned it. Win the auction of the other WaJo and then have a 2-of-2 card. All will hail you
BTW, how will you feel when another Morehouse WaJo pops up-- with card #91 instead of #90? Must have? Seems just a matter of time given the frequency that the Morehouse ad back is being uncovered.

Todd, can you explain why the numbering of the cards has two Johnson’s with different numbers?

M101-4 and M101-5 have different numbering. The Morehouse cards are found with both.

Todd, just because I didn't mention going after this new-to-the-hobby WaJo in order to have a 2-of-2 card doesn't mean I haven't been thinking of doing this.

And yes, a Morehouse #91 of WaJo would be a must have card!
