There are people notorious for trimming Star BKB and getting them into Beckett slabs. Whether that continues with PSA, I dunno.

Peter, do you know when this card was released to the public compared to the #101? Did they come out at the same time, just different bags?

Not sure if same time or later. The first Star Jordan issued, I am told by people who know, was the 1984 Court Kings. It's picked up but it used to be massively underpriced. It's still just a fraction of the 101.

I found this on a Blowout thread where the question was posed and some original customers chimed in. I assumed the cards either 1984 on the flip came out that year, but it seems none of them did.

I’m thinking about going for an Olympic card myself — it may not be first, but being in the same release 94 cards later is still a rookie issue to me.
