McLean is the real deal.
I will have to see more from Tong to annoint him as the second coming of anyone. He looked very green in his first start. His fastball did not befuddle major league hitters like it did in the minors (no surprise there), and his control was so-so. I think he still needs more development time in AAA. If I am wrong I will be thrilled. |
