don't think so
I don't think this was the shortest contest yet but maybe it was. Since it was so short we will have another contest this month. That will make up for not having one last month too (I don't think we did).
The Ruth answer above is the one I was thinking but the other answer might be correct too. Regardless, Dr.D wins.... Darren- please shoot me your shipping addy to leonl@flash.net and I will try to get your card out today....thanks much!! and correct, it was my mistake in that they didn't win both years....and that was also why I put a caveat in the rules about decisions.....I figured I could have made a mistake and would take care of it in a fair manner....

What about Athletics 1911 and 1913. Homerun Baker, 3 homeruns and I think he had 1 in 1913 but maybe someone else did to or maybe he didn't have any ? Congrats to quickdraw Dr. D !

Hey Johnny,
My source shows that in 1911 Oldring for Philly had one, and in 1913 Schang hit one as well. |

I was thinking someone else had one but couldn't remember, I think one of those was an inside the park dinger.

Here's a contest question for Matt, or anybody else: What is Comic Book Guy's real name? (it was revealed in one episode).

Trivia
This was on my baseball calendar today:
" Who is the only Hall of Famer to hit a home run in his first Major League at-bat ? |

I think it's been done at least twice by a HOFer. Earl Averill and Hoyt Wilhelm both did it.

Hoyt Wilhelm did it and never hit another in his career.
What player had exactly one career home run, and hit it in the 22nd inning of a game? |
