That's exactly why they kept him down, as a money saving move.
There's another rookie who is going gangbusters but not getting as much publicity- Carlos Santana. I never saw a rookie batting third in a major league line up right out of the minors. And last time I looked he was hitting .393 with power. Last edited by barrysloate; 06-21-2010 at 11:21 AM.
