You do have some valid points. Here are few others:
In 8 yrs with Angels = 16+ wins 6 times, 3+ shutouts 8 times, 10+ CG 8 times, 300K 5 times, ERA 3.07 In 14 yrs after = 16+ wins 2 times, 3+ shutouts 2 times, 10+ CG once, 300K once, ERA 3.13 and 3.43 The mound Koufax pitched was higher, and rumor that Dodgers messed with it even more. Mound lowered for Ryan's career.
