How much less could you care?
![]() I personally couldn't care less because it is just a hobby and I avoid their crap because I can buy the same card ungraded for pennies on the dollar. Last edited by bnorth; 12-16-2021 at 08:07 AM. |

Very Smart Move By PSA. I'm hopeful a lot of net54 members will get invited.
Let's face it folks, there is a lot of new money in this industry $100 a card is peanuts newer investor guys with money. I think they're doing quite well at the $150 Level this new $100 I expect even better. Just because you wont submit at $100 a card doesn't mean thousands of others wont. The $100 per card level will limit the flood of 90 Fleer basketball and other nonsense to keep them from backing up. |

My understanding is that it will be raffle style, and I assume you’d have to pre-populate the submission or else people who get the chance will inevitably start selling their submissions and people will inevitable start buying them...

In an interview approximately one month ago, Nat Turner stated that returning to pre-COVID pricing levels is the ultimate goal. However, who knows when this will occur.
He also apparently stated that Pokémon and new basketball cards were the reason behind the huge backlog. I’m optimistic that we will return to somewhat reasonable prices one day. Until then, I will continue accumulating raw cards and wait. |

There is a YouTube video that came out a couple days ago....the guy did a reveal...it took him A YEAR to get back his cards. He is complaining about the grades and how long it took, and his language is quite "colorful". It's funny to watch.....because everything he is saying is true.

I for one - don't ever see a day where I will submit the stuff I normally submit at $100 per card.
so consider me DONE with PSA Can hardly wait for the price on everything to go up just because grading fees are now normalized at $100+ per card. Im guessing that my existing PSA Nrmt 55 Topps cards will go from $40 each to $140 I'll probably make a ton of money on ePay now - woohoo!

I’m mixed in this. It’s not really comparable to days past for them to charge $100 up to $1000 in value. Before, they had bulks and specials at $8-10 which had a $100 cap. Even their regular service level at $25 was for cards valued to $500.
It’s definitely an increase, I just don’t know how truly bad the increase really is. That said, I think the way they’ve streamlined their processes (I think) makes more sense. Have heard several who have subbed at their Express level and gotten theirs back in reasonable time for PSA standards. Higher dollar reholders are whipping through quick instead of waiting a few months. I agree with several here that it’s hard to really find things worth subbing for $100 unless I somehow lucked into a cheap pile of $1000 cards. But if you are a PSA fan and have some you wanna grade….it makes sense after sitting on your cards for the last 9 months. |

This $100 lottery system intrigues me. I think it will drive up interest if you are selected. Almost like getting a golden ticket for the Willy Wonka factory
